Ambulatory Services
Offering mobile services at the location of your horse. Our veterinarians are equipped to provide general medicine, dentistry, lameness, and minor surgery at your horse’s location.
Our equipment includes mobile digital x-ray machines and ultrasound, stall side critical care blood analysis, shockwave, and dentistry. In addition, blood analysis, IRAP, and fecal egg testing can be brought back to our facility lab for instant processing and analysis. We also offer emergency care with a preference for our established clients.
Hospital Services
We provide 24 critical care as well as hospital admission for longer-term care such as wound care. Our hospital stalls are equipped with cameras allowing for constant monitoring and IV fluid therapy.
Our in-house laboratory allows our clinicians to monitor our patients closely and aids in critical decisions to be made by the vet and owner. Our hospital is heated and the stalls are equipped with soft stall flooring providing good comfort and care for our patients.
In addition for our patients outside our field service range, we have a day patient haul-in clinic for routine care.
Emergency Care
Our veterinarians are available 24-hour hours a day, 365 days a year. We place a priority on our existing clients for emergency cases. If you are not already a client of Okanagan Equine Veterinary Services, your emergency will be addressed on a triage and geographical basis.

Most frequently we treat colics, fevers, and trauma, which can be handled in the field via our Ambulatory Service. In situations where more intensive care is needed, we may recommend that your horse come into our hospital.

Our hospital is located on 13 acres and equipped with a main office building, a five-stall foaling barn, a five-stall hospital, an in-house laboratory, a out patient clinic and areas of fields and paddocks for broodmare boarding and foaling services.
This expansive facility allows for boarding and care of broodmares, stallions, and foals.
We offer in house CBC, chemistry, SAA, lactate, IRAP, PRP, Stem cell, digital radiology, digital ultrasound, 3meter gastroscopy for gastric ulcer, 1meter upper airway endoscopy, minor surgeries, advance dentistry and lameness diagnosis and treatment.
